DR. SEUSS WEEK IN OUR "BUTTERFLY CLASSROOM"
Our children got a chance to read "Wocket in my Pocket" by Dr. Seuss and the children created their own monsters during Dr. Seuss week.
We also read "Oh, The Places You'll Go! by Dr.Seuss and every child had the opportunity to use there imagination to paint a picture and discuss places they would love to visit and they also designed their very own "Cat & Hat' hats.
We celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday with a pajama party getting very comfy and taking a wild adventure to  explore with our eyes  reading some of Dr.Seuss famous books including "Green eggs and Ham" then cooking Green eggs and ham together.

Our History

Established in 1969, Tiny Tots Development Center (TTDC) provides child care services, preschool, and early childhood education in a nurturing environment acknowledging cultural diversity. TTDC provides a Community Learning Center (CLC) after school educational program for elementary school age children at Van Asselt Elementary School.

Our staff strives to guide children’s social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development through our use of carefully selected curriculum materials, classroom activities, field trips, family involvement and support programs and presentations. All four of our child care centers are designated “Green Safe” by the King County Water and Land Resources Division.

Am I eligible for free childcare? Is before-and-after-school child care available? Where are Tiny Tots childcare sites located? Find answers to these and other questions by clicking on the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link on the upper left side.

Tiny Tots Development Center Joins with Seattle Tilth to Offer Families a "Good Food Bag"

Picture
In and effort to encourage healthy eating and living, the staff at Tiny Tots Development Center is pleased to announce that they have joined together with Seattle Tilth to offer families a "Good Food Bag." Good Food Bags contain locally grown produce and are being distributed to reach local families through three different models: work distribution, funded distribution, and paid orders.

We also partner with Rainier Valley Eats

The Center is also very honored to be a recipient of the Rainier Valley Eats Project. The Rainier Valley Eats Coalition believes that healthy food is a basic human right. The organization recognizes that the ability to access healthy food is related to multiple issues and not just a result of low income.  The organization believes in taking a holistic approach to achieve real change in our community’s access to healthy food.
